Biography

Ruth J. Mitchell is a trusted real estate attorney and corporate counsel who guides clients through every stage of the real estate life cycle—from land acquisition and entitlement to development, financing, ownership, leasing and disposition. With over a decade of experience across both firm and in-house roles, Ruth is known for advancing complex deals with clarity, purpose, and strategic foresight.

She partners closely with clients to align legal guidance with business goals, helping them anticipate risks, seize opportunities, and make confident, well-informed decisions. Ruth brings a sharp strategic focus and a grounded, practical approach that keeps transactions moving efficiently—even in high-stakes or multifaceted environments.

Outside of work, Ruth is an avid gardener and fitness enthusiast who loves exploring new places—she’s visited over 30 countries, though her heart always brings her back to Dallas. At home, you’ll find her tending plants in her yard or out on neighborhood trails with her two dogs (and yes, the cats sometimes tag along!). When she’s not outdoors, she enjoys quality time with family and discovering hidden gems in DFW.
